Due to boxes being down yesterday (Waterford, Ireland) my first generation starview clone does not appear to automatically update itself with latest codes anymore. A quick look at system info menu shows:
API ver: 2.57e_E
Boot Ver: 7.0
The last time I flashed this box (Apr 08) I used the following files:
CryptStar-v14-Core257.bin
GTRom v4.00
Manually inputting codes isn't the hardest thing in the world to do but it's tidy to have the autoroll feature fully functional.
kingwisp that is the latest firmware for that box some boxes AU others did'nt, what you have to do is try and find the channel with the strongest signal now for me that was S*y indie movies others it was channel 4, s*y two, discovery turbo, so basically go through your channells leave them for 15 - 20 seconds if the autoupdate dos'nt start updating go to the next channel,
I've actually manually inputted codes and that worked fine.
Autoroll didn't seem to function no matter what channel I tried it on? I left it alone >5 or more minutes but it never got past the dreaded 0% display.
Would be handy if I can get it back is all, cheers.

Hi Anto,
Cheers for that. Granted, I didn't actually try every channel - I suppose I'll get more opportunities though, LOL.
What's best way of viewing signal stength of each channel?
