I'm really sorry to start a new thread, I've read through loads of posts and I'm still confused about how to play ISOs on my PSP.
I started with a PSP running version 2.7. I downgraded that (eventually) to version 1.5 and installed UMDEmulator V0.8C.
I have 3 ISOs to test with and only one of them works, but even then I don't get any sounds. 1 of the others gives me an error (game cannot be loaded) and the other just freezes the screen forcing me to shut it down and reboot.
I know people are talking about another firmware version, 3.something but I have no idea what that's all about.
A friend of mine has a PSP that works perfectly with the same 3 ISOs, all he does is put them in an ISO file on the memCard and a list appears in the game - memory card option on the main screen.
He is using a newer version than me and it seems to be much better.
Can someone please explain to me what I need to do to get my PSP working better. If possible software only as I don't want to take a battery apart to turn it into a pandora battery (I think being in version 1.5 means I don't need to??)
Sorry if this has been covered loads of times but I am really stuck with this.
ok, I'm still a little confused. But extremely happy.
I have upgraded to m33-4 (the link only included m33-3) and all my games are working perfectly!
Thanks loads for your help, but why didn't the other upgrade work and if I upgrade and it ruins the PSP can I downgrade again esily? - or should I just stick where I am?
