Ok so I flashed my 360 about a month ago and everything was working fine till today. I went to play after having rejected my games for a while and as soon as I turn on the 360 I get the 3 red lights. So I went and did the whole process of cleaning and repasting everything and still nothin. Now I have an Arcade 360 so both the GPU and CPU are kept in place by glue and theres an extra heatsink. I mean last time I played it worked fine and all of a sudden i get this crap. Does the xclamp fix work the same even though it has the extra heatsink

Well to me I doubt that the chips are wiggling loose cuz well they are glued in place. Im gonna try the xclamp fix just to check if it works, worst case Ill have to buy a new one.

The glue, from what I've read, is supposed to act like a spacer between the board and the chip.
Some people have added shims made from credit cards to replicate this when they do their x-clamp fixes so that there is even contact between all points.
If that's 100% correct I'm not sure. Can someone else verify that?
