wow interesting read bet starfix wishes he hadnt said anything,however £299.99 is a bit steep considering it only takes five mins to do and if people look hard enough they will find the firmware, crypstar starview clone fix by sunrise.

Get your leads out vic, and give it a go, just take your time - no need to do anything special, it is a bin file. You obviously need the Loader.

but I have version api ver 2.57e-E boot ver 7.0 16 Aug 2006 on it. will I only need to download the new version?

Is it a genuine box vic, as that was working on the clone and genuine, you will need the GTrom 4.00 and the 257 is for clones and 4.00 for genuine.

I am downloading now, it is a clone, I reach the number 9 then it close down I re-booted and it moving up the channel again

Finish down loading but when I check the system imfo the
version api ver 2.57e-E boot ver 7.0 16 Aug 2006 was still
there.

The Starview clone and genuine firmware was only released at 2pm today if you got before that its a fake file
and starfix i hope you are happy charging people for what is free i hope you have a good xmas (NOT)
and for other following in your footsteps on flebay the same to them
people like you pray on the weak and the vulnerable nothing more than lowlifes do this in my mind
