Hi,
I bought a pre-soldered D2Lite from foundmy. My wiiChipset is D2C2 under 3.4U firmware.
I followed several videos to install the chip. Once I placed it in the right place I start my Wii while still open. I see the red blue light sequence when I place the original game. Then I insert the firmware update DVD (D2Lite aurora from D2lite webpage) and here is the problem:
Instead of seen a blue light first and then a red light turning on and stay on simultaneously (and stay on for a few seconds), I see only a blue steady light for about 10 seconds and then it turns off.
I then insert an original DVD again and loads with no problem, but when I insert my backups, they don't work.
Finally, when I put the USA-loader.iso DVD it loads with no problem and gives me the options to set the chip.
How do I know that the chip is working properly?
Is the chip or my backups the problem?
Do I have to see the 2 lights during firmware update?
Any ideas?

Well to my knowledge,(I dont have the d2lite so correct me if im wrong)
The d2lite was not made to boot backups
you had to update the chip to an unoffical firmware to boot backups, maybe thats the problem?

Yes, once I used the hacked firmware 1.0, the chip was able to do what I wanted. The problem was that wherever I read I could not find anything about only the blue light turning on for 10 seconds...
