Yes the GTRom 4.00 and the Core257,bin is for the clone - and the Core400.bin is for the genuine, okay.

The Core400.bin is for the genuine okay, Core257.bin the clone. Non specifically for the 1st generation box, if it is a genuine 1st generation then that's all there is to it, if in doubt at all then the 257 will work on both.

Lads i dowloaded the CryptStar-v1.5.zip file to my SV clone, as I didn't know there was 2 different bin files in it! Have tried just downloading the 257.bin file now, but not getting the channels. Anyone know what I should do, thanks in advance

Have you scanned for the channels, do a Factory default and and a fresh Installation, and don't forget to turn the Emu on, and make sure that you have a live cable feed into the cable input socket, basic but it does happen.

Thanks Malci, tried that ,no change. Where I downloaded the CryptStar-v1.5.zip file to on my PC it says this file is 768kb, I extracted the other 2 files and they are both 768kb, is this correct?

You need to update with the UK fix, for Ireland, and you will find what you need on the first page of this thread in the link marked Eurovox at the bottom of my post, okay.

Hello everyone....I'm new to all this and have a quick query....the sv fix thet sunrise released on 17/12/08...is that for sv1 orignal AND sv1 clones?? Or is their seperate files for them?

I updated my sv1 original with the new fix but when I go to check system information it still has the old API details dated 7 Jun! Is this right?? I'm new to all this so if someone can help?.....much appreciated.

Thanks Sunrise for the early Xmas present! Much appreciated! :-)
