ok, i have read forums for the past week looking for my problem and from what i have seen no one else shares my delima,

a week or so ago i wanted to flash my xbox 360 so i looked at all the tutorials and got everything down i saved all my ORIGINAL data and had the hacked firmware all ready to flash, i flashed it with success all i had to do was patch the cd drive but when i ran the patch it was two-thirds finished and my computer froze, i knew i was screwed so i waited an hour or so and the computer was still frozen so i restarted the computer.

ever since then the drive doesnt open from the xbox, it isn't visible in my windows (vista) and when i connect it back to the xbox i get an error 64. when it is set up to the computer it blinks like it is in mode b. i dont know what happened i think it was luck but i went into my bios and saw my drive was detected so i booted into windows but it wasnt visible i restarted the computer to check if it would still be visible in bios but it wasn't

IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME RECOVER OR DETECT MY DRIVE IN WINDOWS PLEASE REPLY!!

how did you get your drive visble in windows, you use the 2 wire trick or slax?

Sorry a little slow today title says its a hitachi.
Is your drive actually in mode b then when you attempting to recognize it? And what method are you using for flashing?
All you should have to do as long as you still have your original is rewrite the firmware to the drive.

i used the slax 2 disk and my drive is in b mode because the green led light on my 360 is flashing it gets detected in bios but once windows starts up it isn't in my device manager
