Evening all. I've got a guy with a 20gb XB360 with a mfr date of March 21st, 2006. It's old enough that it does not have a HDMI port but the proprietary cable that has A/V and HDMI on the end. He has never sent it in for any work, so I'm thinking this guy has to be old enough not to have the Lite-On drive. I'll check the cd tray when I pick it up too but wanted first impressions from you experts on what to look for.

I'm looking to flash it with the newest ixtreme obviously.

its more than likely a sammy, since the lite-ones didnt appear until this year.

It could have a Hitachi drive. Those and Samsungs appeared about equally back then. All Hitachis and Samsungs are flashable. I'd me more concerned about it red ringing being that old.
