had just downloaded that and flashtool from your filesharing thingy,my next option might be new image.if thats my last resort what image you advise,i think im pissing against the wind with the roms,done everything by the book so to speak

Dont worry I am going somewhere with this but I do need to know if its a 1x or 2x Sagem as I dont what to have you with a box in Kein system. Although easy enough to recover from.
If you use flashcheck it will tell you how many ICs you have. Then I can help you ;)

Cheers. OK download this image here it is set up for Dublin.
You will still need to FTP over the new ROM file I gave you to your zapit folder as said earlier. Then reboot the box and put it on Sly 2 for a minute or two.
Bit of work but it will work, unless you have more problems than I thought.

success,well sort off,just got your last post few seconds ago,read thru your beginners guide and loaded lincsat x2 into temp.flashed thru dbox and worked.did a scan and got all channels.thank f*ck,went to ftp for the new rom,bouquet and services but dont know password to connect,tried the usual..dbox..dbox2..,username ..root...made sure my ip was same on my adaptor and configured same on network on dbox,but not getting connection,but on a good note i have something to keep the kids occupied with on tv over xmas.one less noob now to worry about.

Hi Scouser, hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread, have downloaded new roms, unzipped them and FTPd them to the Commando Image, rebooted the dbox, and put it onto Sky2, left it there for a while, changed channels and BINGO!!!
Excellent work, once again a big thanks!
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Hey folks,
Is there an updated image out there for DBox 2 Dublin -
Can flash new images etc no probs but kinda lost with Rom files etc etc etc

the same thing happened me with a dbox before and it took me ages to figure out. the reason i remembered you from that site is because i'm on it too with the same name and my uncle and he said you're very helpful on it.

Hey Guys
first of merry Christmas :)
i was wondering if any had a working link for the "Nokia Virgin+ 2.1 Dublin 190808.img " the link provided by Sc0user doesn;'t need seem to work, says the file is invalid
i have tried loads of images to get one particular box working again but the all seems to be different soom have 7 or 8 roms other only 2 where as other have none in the keys folder.
then i have some that have no cables file to over write or any service/bouquets files.
i can't seem to find any that has them all.
in saying that i have another box here with the "Vrgin+ 2.1 2x" image and copied all the roms across and worked fine
so i though if i flash he new box with the same image her would be no problems. but coping the roms across didn't work and trying to file service and bouquets nothin in the folders
can anyone give me a the lastest working image for the dublin N*TL??
sorry this most of this sounds like rubbish

Guys
~Many thanks for all contributions so far. I have tried nearly all options mentioned so far and thanks to podhead have finally got up and running again. For anyone who is using a nokia dbox2 in Dub on NT* I have set up everything including instructions at the following link. All I have done is taken a few items from several contributors and put it in one file. I hope it works.
