i have a box the super 2 put in the software and i cant understand why it wont work but it wont let me put on the code u know when u factory set it then 1570 it wont let me turn on the nagravision or let me into that other page what do i do help please as xmas is aproaching and my kids are getting upset xxxxxx

so what software did you put on it? the v4.03 downloader and the new uk fix 4.55?
where are you based? and what exactly is the problem? why did you factor reset? have you lost all your channels?
it's menu 1570 and then turn emu on.

wwell im based in waterford ,ok long story coming up bought a cable then bought the connection on ebay the one with usb to pin for my laptop dodnt get software with it .so im not sure whether the software went in as well i know im dumb lol.are all the boxes down in the southeast as well ? and my frind has starvieew 1 his is workin whys that .sorry for all the questions what can i do?/?? yes when i go to menu i press 1570 and nothing happens ,i factory reset cause my friend told me too

you're not dumb, just not used to doing this. have you got vista or xp on your pc? are you n*l or chor*s?

Hi sharonnum, when you say that the box will not let you into the Cas System menu, when you enter 1570, then the reason is - the box does not have firmware on it and until it does there is no way in the world that you will gain entry. So you first need to put Firmware on the box, and if you are using an Adaptor and a NULL MODEM lead then I think, that with it being your first time that you will find it very difficult. Now is that the case I have outlined above?

Then you need to assign the Adaptor to the correct COMM port, so really can I just ask if it is possible for you to get to a friends standalone PC. One that has the correct 9 pin serial lead on it , most of the standalone do have this, the modern laptops don't, because it would be much easier for you.

You can wait until tomorrow, always some one around, in the meantime have a look at this guide, and when you get to a PC that is correct for you, then you will not have a problem. >>>>>>>>>>

Can't post that please edit it out, use the little notepad icon at the top right of your post to remove the email okay. You also use that to pm anyone - it appears as a small head on other posters posts, okay. And if you click on the 1st link marked Starview at the bottom of my post you will find that information, don't forget to edit out your email address. but without firmware on your box it will be of no use to you, honestly.
