I followed instructions on software update for Eurovox 5000. Everything went as instructed but when i check my box under configuration, System information, s/w version it hasn't changed. Does this mean it didn't update.

Is it working?
Some of the fixes never had their name changed, they just updated the last fixes, so the software name won't change on your box.

Still nothing on this box Am in Kilkenny Ireland am wondering now if ours is true cable or is it worked off mmds. Dublin Galway and Waterford don't seem to have any bother with these boxes. Maybe its the wrong box.

Obviously I have never had the need to play with a TX, as there is no need in the UK, but I vaguely recollect that it is the same as the Starview, so try 1668, and let me know how you go on.
