Hey guys i've got it all up n running to play my back ups but what im after now is a program so i can watch dvd's through my wii.. i dont wanna have to keep the SD Card in the Slot so i need one that will create its own channel like the back up loader

Any help much appreciated

I dont think there is a DVD player program that creates its own channel. There are 3 reasons that come to mind.

1) Most people dont have a problem leaving the SD card in the wii. Its not like it gets in the way or anything, you just pop it in and forget about it.

2) The wii's drive really isnt designed to play DVD movies. It can do it, but causes far more strain to the laser than playing games and will wear out the drive.

3) Since the wii isnt designed to play movies it cannot upscale, and thus movies will look better even on a cheap DVD player than the wii.

Generally speaking, its a wiser investment to buy a cheapo DVD player that will have better picture than to burn out the wii's far more expensive DVD drive.
