Hey guys, I got a little problem. I have searched the forums countless times for about a week now and I haven't been able to find what I am looking for. Maybe its not there, but anyway, all the forums and messages I have looked through on the internet are dated from 2006 or 2007. I was wondering if there was any updated drivers, firmware, whatever, that I can use to get my 360 samsung drive flashed using my Gigabyte motherboard's sata ports. I have the ICHP 9 chipset. From what I have read in other forums it is impossible. It seems that on the bottom 2 ports on my motherboard my drive will be recognized in the dos prompt, but when I do the 10 sec trick, etc, nothing happens. Any ideas, suggestions, links, or anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
I have a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 and could not flash my MS28 with it. I don't think it's possible. I recommend spending the $12 for a SATA controller card.
i had the same problem i tried the vcc switch and it worked but like they say invest in a via chipset card a the bad flash method is so easy and a hell of a lot quicker
