Xclamp fix on NEW 360?

Just currious if an xclamp fix on a BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX 360 would actually make a differance?
Ive never done it, never had a rrod due to ME using pc laptop cooler-cut out grills(behind the fans and oposite side Hard drive)
The reason im asking is ive considered gettting a jasper and figured if I can get someone to xclamp fix it, do they have to melt the chips being they take off the heatsinks?

1-Can xclamp fix on a new 360 do any good?
2-If doing it is it the same as a rrod xclamp fix? or would it be different?
3- Or will it make no difference

i dont think it would be needed on the newest systems since the chip size has been decreased resulting in less heat and less power consumption. and if it is a brand new unit i wouldnt mess with it unless u were going to take it apart anyway to mod it. otherwise why risk accidently something going wrong.

but if u did it it would be the same process.

I got the money to burn, (Knock on wood) its just a pet project really, and figured since I have 2 360's, I know people who want to get one, so the money I make selling my mods I can get a NEW one (JASPER) and figured if I game on my main 360 might as well make it COOLMASTER potential. Besied I can just take it back if it messes up being for $200 for a arcade the Best buy or CC charge like $40 for 2 to 4y warrenty? If it can ONLY help it heck I might as well do it.
