I have the special extended edition of The Lord Of the Rings, Two Towers and I am trying (and failing) to back it up. I have used DVD Dycrypter and then DVD2one to get the files onto my hard drive, no problem. I can now play the film from the hard drive using PowerDVD. When I now burn the files using Nero6 onto DVD and play it through PowerDVD the introduction warning screen plays then PowerDVD seems to freeze and I get the following error message.
DVD error code 8902003, disk may be scratched and unreadable, or some thing like that. I have tried burning the files onto 2X DVD-r, 4X DVD+r and 2.4X DVD+rw. Am I missing the plot somewhere along the line or is it not possible to back up this particular DVD. Thanks very much for any advice

Hi Ya adgy,
Hey my friend, Ya all runnin' some crappy media -
Use Ritek G04 or Verbatim media it'll make ALL the difference :-)
I would have used DVDShrink and compressed it a tiny bit more until I saw some gray at the end of my green compression bar (so I didn't write right to the very edge of the disc)
(Huuuummmmmmm, thinkin' long and hard - Ya know what ? Hey that's EXACTLY what I did - crazy world isn't it ?)
Welcome to the club, little Buddy :D

Don't know how you got 'The Two Towers' - it must be a pirate copy since as far as I know it's not out on DVD yet.

two tower been out since last november, as in last year, hehehe, i didn't think dvd decryptor would handle a dvd that size (according to afterdawn guide it's limited to 4.3 gb) I would try using DVD Shrink
