Hello:)
I have big time problem to stream 1080p file with TVersity to my Ps3.
I have tryed many proggrams like MKVExtractGui,Tsmuxer,mkvtovob,Yamb,Gotsent... without luck.
The file is 12 gig,but I had also tryed sample file, and no chance?
Is there any chance to make posible, and mostly without lost quality, like DTS audio, without conversation to ac3,or aac, same vith video.I vil be more than thankful if we can make this to work.
Thanks

Does the ps3 say data is corrupt when you try to play it or file type not supported? Or just the black screen?

Your video will not play no matter what app or streaming tool you use. It was not encoded for PS3 (or BD) compatibility), notice the red font in the stats of your video (in my response), that value for 1080p movies must be 4 or lower. I think that value is either 8 or 10 for 720p movies.

Your only options to recode it, for a newbie I'd suggest Ripbot264, for a more advanced user I would suggest MeGUI/AviSynth with a good BD profile. Once you recode your video you can use DTS since the resolution is 1920x1080, just mux to Blu-ray using tsMuxeR... you cannot have DTS or subs if you intende to stream. Your subtitles must be converted to SRT (SubRip), Subtitle Workshop can do this. At this point you can compress the video stream slightly so when everything is muxed it will for on a DVD9.

~Cheers.

For a newbie Ripbot264 is not the best recommendation in my honest opinion. I would highly recommend using MKVtoVOB. Set the encoding the MPEG2 (fast) and it doesn't take that long. It will convert the DTS to AC3 audio for you and transcode the video. Maybe 1 out of 20 will not play after using MKV2VOB. IF that is the case, change it to the H264 encoding (slow) and it will work. I've been doing this with about 1.5 TB of HD movies that I stream on the PS3. 95% have been 720P of 1080P MKV Files. I learn from experience and after 1.5 TB's, I've done a few.

From gotsent I got black screen, and from mkvtovob-data is defect. No audio or video. All that is from small sample of movie wich is about 1 min.

I never trid tversity cuz wmp11 works fine for me and its easier to use. I stream Terminator 2 in 1080p from my PC and it plays perfect. The file size was around 8 gigs.

PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

You should also have Haali Media Splitter and K-Lite Mega Codec pack installed to, this should help with your filter issue.

Ok,I manage to encode sample with RipBot,and video play fine on Ps3,but without audio. That should play, because it is in aac format, but no.Others files with ac3,and mp3,... play fine trough optical line, but this not- but trough hdmi input sound play fine?
How can I encode video with Dts(original source),seems that RipBot don`t have support for Dts?

RipBot264 will convert the audio. You need to select the AC3 Audio, 640 KB/s after you select .mkv After you encode it with ripbot, you can then use TSMuxer to convert it to a .m2ts and play. Sucks that you have to use Ripbot, it takes about 4 times as long as MKV2VOB
