Tried to run ms dash off of UnleashX now there's the Service Message. HELP?!

Just modded my old xbox that I haven't used in a while. I installed UnleashX. I was then just going through the menu's and saw "Launch Ms dash" so I tried it and it said it was unable to because "c:\msdash.xbe doesn't exist" so I was like oh that's odd since I made a ms backup and a mod backup so I opened my ftp and went to the C drive of my xbox and found a file named "xboxdash.xbe" and figured oh I guess it's just the wrong name. So I changed "xboxdash.xbe" to "msdash.xbe" and then went back to my xbox and tried to launch the ms dash but when I clicked it the screen went black for a while so I just turned it off. When I turned it back on it had the "Your xbox needs service please call customer service" message. So is there anyway to fix this?? I was really hoping to give this xbox to my girlfriend's lil bro's for Christmas so if there's anyway to restore it please tell me and I would be so utterly grateful.
