Help! Wii News Channel and Weather not reading!

hey, i for the longest time i have had 2 weather channels and 2 news channels. i finally decided to get rid of them and downloaded a boot.elf onto my sd card. i used it and it got rid of 1 of the weather channels and 1 of the news. now when i click on it, it says that i cannot use that channel. what do i do??? is there a way to reinstall those 2 channels and get rid of the two "bad" oneS? please help! thank you.

Do you have WiiConnect24 turned on? You will need to do so to use the channels.

You've used the wrong duplicate channel remover for your Wii.. not sure what Wii you have but I have a JAP console which I just upgraded to 3.2U and used the US version of the duplicate channel remover and it worked perfectly.. not sure how you get the channels back though?..

because its not the correct one for your region.. I *think* if you install the correct firmware then it will install the correct channels for you.. you'll then need to run the correct region channel de-duplicator to remove the duplicates..

From what I understand the duplicate channel remover adds a tag or something saying that they're already installed, to prevent another out of region game from putting them back on.
I'm not sure but the anytitledeleter MIGHT be able to delete the tags and let an update restore the proper channels. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/AnyTitle_Deleter
Failing that, you'll have to contact the creators of the duplicate channel remover for advice.

Im not completely sure this would work, but you could try starfall if you are running 3.2 and region free channels. this may not work with the news and weather though, but its probably worth a try isnt it?
