ok so i have repaired many psp before, but never ran into this problem. i have a psp that has a working backlight. the sound works, everything works, except nothing on the screen. the backlight comes on. but the screen is blank. the sound works fine. i checked the ribbon cables and they are connected properly, they are inserted all the way in, so i am not sure whats the problem. i also updated to 4.01 m33 but i still have the same problem. could this be a fuse somewhere or something? if anybody has managed to figure this problem out please let me know.

most likely senario is U BRICKED IT yes, your eyes do not fool you, i've done this to my mates psp before, try going into recovery mode (hold R while starting up) and if working, select "boot from something" or "eboot at something"

but he said the sound works, how can the psp be bricked, but then again i've never had a psp bricked
