Hi
My experience with Digivox-t version 3.3 as follows.
Flashed the box and had all the channels (120) but lost all the channel names and had a four digit number displayed on the front of the box which only occasionally changed when I changed channel.
I did a factory reset and auto scanned but could only get 60 channels and no names !!

With a manual scan I could get the rest of them but again no names.

I re-flashed version 3.2 did a factory reset and autoscan and got all 120 channels plus names back.
I reorganised the channels into my preferred sequence and uploaded a channel file to my PC.

I re-flashed version 3.3 and downloaded my new channel file back to the box and I have all my channels plus names .

However
Version 3.3 bought back that strange 4 digit code on the front of the box, as far as I can see it bears no relation to whatever channel I am watching.
Also the EPG has no program numbers on it, they are all zero (name is OK)
Changing channel with remote works fine.

You should probably use the Downloader10.exe that's in the software folder of the Digivox directory on the eamo's library 4Shared thing.

Check you have the right cable - A Null Modem cable DB9F to DB9F.
Also, if you are using vista, you probably wont be able to flash the b0x. Try & find someone with XP & preferbly a stand alone pc.

looking at date of version, possible new firmware on box but it has not updated yet0% try moving to another channel and see if it moves.

Hello I am looking for some help. I bought a couple of Digivox-T's recently for use on MMDS in Galway. I loaded the v3200bin and the boxes came up as okay. However when I scan I get no signal detected and the boxes run through the scan in a couple of seconds. Does anybody know if the MMDS signal in Galway is that different from the rest of Ireland that the frequency range is not within the Digivox-T range or if there a known issue for the tuner in these boxes. The MMDS antenna is powered directly if that has any bearing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the reply. When I loaded 3200 it was the most recent. I am on N** in Galway. From the jist of what you are saying is it that I may need a DVB-C box as opposed to a DVB-T and if so would you recommend a particular one.

Thanks again.

There is no reason you should not be able to see the channel names with the new 3300 firmware for Digivox -t.

If when you did an auto scan it only came back with numbers and no channel names, try switching off at back, wait 20 seconds, power back on, do factory reset, re-do autoscan and turn on EMU if not already on.

You should get full names. If you have any splitters they should be removed for the scan.

As I mentioned in My post above I could not get any channel names with ver 3.3 despite several factory resets and a lot of other messing around over a couple of days !!

Keeffo you are more then welcome to a copy of my channel file, just send me a PM with your e-mail. Be warned however, my understanding is that different MMDS transmitters user different frequencies and what works in one area may not work in another ? I once loaded a channel file from Kerry (not local) and lets just say it was not a success !!

Cwkk where in Kilkenny are you ?
