I have seen some weird stuff happen.

the last MS28 i did it kept saying it couldnt read the firmware from the drive. I was using the newest version of iprep so i uninstalled it and installed version 006 and it worked fine no problems.

so check ur version and see, also make sure u get the updaeted xml or whatever defs for iprep

the last drive i flashed was a MS25 and when i got to the step where it says chose the drive number and then turn off and wait 10 second and turn on again and reading will occur. I hit the button and then turned it off but it started readinf the fw the moment i hit the button and it still read it even tho the 360 was off???? and the samething happened when i wrote the new fw. it didnt even give me a chance to turn it off before it started writing so i didnt even turn it off that time. and it worked and i dont know why lol

well i havent had to do this before and i would get opinion of someone else that has but i think u will need ur original firmware to flash back to and then start over from the beginning.

i hope u have the original. it should be on whatever drive u used to flash with such as bootable usp created with iprep or the hdd used withntfs for dos ,method

i have done that before basically the flash went wrong and you have turned the 360 into a dvdv player the only disks it will play now are dvd movies, all you have to do is do the flash again correctly and it will work important thing to do is not apnic just flash agin but use iprep 1.062

ok so ur saying in its current state his 360 is nothing more than a expensice dvd player but if he starts over now with the whole process and flashes it again and doesnt get errors or what not then it should work fine.
sounds like it would work. flash again dude, i mean at this point it wont play games so its not like it can get worse

exactly it will work if he flashes again and listens to me. at the moment he has an expensive dvd player all he needs to do is flash correctly. are you using a via pci sata card ?
