I can't get any backups to work under WiiGator V3. It comes up with a message that is a bit hard to read, but it says something like, "Error: Set Ory Nof DVD." Take a look I took a picture of the error code.

http://img220.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1929jb9.jpg

These are the steps I took since I recently installed THC.

1. Installed the homebrew channel via the TP hack.
2. Installed CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042 thru the WAD Manager.
3. Installed DVDX using the advanced setting and choose ISO249.
4. Installed Backup Launcher thru WAD Manager to get the channel.
5. Updated wii firmware thru Safe 3.3 Update.

I've searched all over this forumto try to find someone who has a similar problem. I've tried dvd-r's, dvd+r's, dvd+rw's, different burning speeds. Some of my isos I've burned have been patched, some haven't. Nothing works! Anyone have any ideas what's wrong?

the same thing happened to me.

Download the Boot Loader files HERE. ( http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ykwzijh5cam )

Extract the downloaded file and then copy all folders inside the boot loader folder to the root of the SD CARD (do not copy the boot loader folder itself only copy the folders inside the boot loader folder to the SD CARD root).

Now place the SD CARD into the Wii and start the homebrew channel.

You will have a list of applications in the menu.

1st choose the cIOS installer to install the custom firmware. Follow the on screen instructions and when it is finished it will reboot back to Wii menu.

For this next part I have included 2 ways to launch the boot loader. You can do it via Homebrew Channel or install a boot loader channel to the Wii menu and all you will need to do is boot the backup disc through that channel.

Option 1) launch boot loader with Homebrew Channel. Start the Homebrew Channel then go to the WiiGator 0.3 Gamma boot loader in Homebrew Channel menu and launch it.

Option 2) Install WiiGator 0.3 Gamma bootloader channel. Start the Homebrew Channel and choose to launch wad manager in the Homebrew Channel menu.

Go through the on screen instructions. Choose SD CARD for the wad directory. In the WAD list (there should only be 1) go to BackupChannel_0.3-ForceNTSC.wad and press + to install the channel.

After it is done it will reboot back to the Wii Menu and you should have the boot loader channel in it to launch from.

this worked for me. i have tried to burn 2 games and so far only one of the two has worked, the other it loads and then eventually it gets an error saying to eject the disc and shutdown the wii. if anyone knows what i am doing wrong it would be appreciated!
hope this helps

Hey thanks, I got it to work finally. Uninstalling/reinstalling cios 249 with the new gamma version was what I needed to do to get it working.
