What do you mean it's all over the place, do you mean it's in another language or you do you mean the times don't tally with the TV listings.

I cant read the text at all. Have to a do factory reset then power scan everyday just really hard to do it when cant see what ur doing. I have to do a manual scan on the tv to find the menu page aswell. wondering if u know how to get rid of the weird text? Its not a language at all. Eg. ######### the text is something like this. As i said i know how to get into language settings hoping there is a trick to change the text.

Very odd, I have never heard of this. Have you tried flashing the box again, if not I would give that a try, do a factory default before flashing.

When you say that you have to do a manual Scan on the TV to get the Menu up, how are you connected to the TV, - you should have your box connected to TV with a good quality scart lead, you have no need to scan the TV at all if you do that!!! also press menu and OK on Language, and make sure that the 4 option are selected as ENGLISH, blue button to save and exit, but get your connection sorted out.

Auto scanning the tv to find the digi box because the scart connection not recognised. when get into the settings can change to scart setting. tried not working not languages coming up at just weird text. Cheers for the advice still have the channels so happy enough bit annoying but will have to live with it.
