WOO HOO< I got #2, count em 2 Jaspers. I went to best buy. They had a bunch on a pallet for people to grab. I headed straight for the arcade versions. After 1 hour of scouting I came across 0843 is the start of jaspers, I looked & looked for more newer(0845) and grabbed 2. I compared the info on http://www.360drives.com/list So if your loking for a begining, make sure its 0843 and ABOVE!
I did however see some 0843 PRO consoles. But I have 120gb hard drive so I only needed the arcade.
I ran one of my new arcades with GOW2 for 2 hours, WOW real cool compared to my elite (with grills cut out and heat sink chips that I added+ that wispermax fan). They both compared well to heat but I believe the Jasper to be the more cooler. I could do a more better test if I can get a tmep meter or oven thermometer.
Even the power brick has some changes (more holes and MORE lighter)
My only complaint, the power cord seems to come off real easy from the power brick. I may have to super glue it to stay better but any slight movement seems to pull out the power plug off the brick.

Also has the 256mb internal memory which is good to have.
BEWARE: of re sticking the stickers that say Mexico or lok like they are stuck over an old sticker.
Just read this, on how to identify the label. The BEST method if You really want a jasper is the 12v, read this article , all it takes is 1 finger, I just grabed it with my right hand exactly in the hole forcing my index finger to push that certain corner, no ones noticing and you wont be suspicious.

Pay most particular attention to the 12.1 like the pic and you pretty much got a jasper.
I do belive NO TEAM CSON had any 0843 & above let alone the 12v . All it took was 1 finger to adjust the window. Good luck & good hunting, this was easier then looking for a falcon!
I live in Oregon and I honestly haven't found one arcade that ISN'T a jasper. They definitely aren't hard to come by here. Just get the holiday arcade bundle.
My jasper is just sitting on my kitchen table, I fired it up once but haven't played on it at all. Hopefully in another week I can fire it up.
