somehow I can not flash the sv/kryptview box's, I have downloaded the software and when I click on download nothing happens. I have connected up the cables via usb converter, also tried two different laptops, is there anyone out there that is willing to run through this with me.
Please.

If you are using USB Adaptors coupled with a NULL MODEM lead, then that is what is causing your problems, so have a look here at these links with regards to the correct assigning of the COMM port. >>>

http://www.freewebs.com/starview-update/

http://www.freewebs.com/boxsuper/

And if the problem still persists, then delete the firmware off your PC and download another, it does sometimes get corrupt.
