I guess I have the same question. I just got a PSP 3.8 and received the new Midnight Club racing game for Xmas, but it says I have to update to 4.05 to play. 1-I don't want to upgrade and possibly not be able to play homebrew, and 2-I want to be able to play this game when i do change the firmware to play my homebrew.
I've looked around for clarification, but no one really talks about what you can/can't do with each version of CFW. But, I believe you're saying I should upgrade to the 5.00 M33......? If that's it, then lookout-I'M GETTING STARTED!! =)
Oh, while I'm at it, what if I what to do it to a Fat PSP? Still go with 5.00?

SWEET! I'm gonna do the pandora mod! Once I do that, how do I convert the PSP games to play from my memory car? Or is there a place to download ROMS, or whatever form they will be in, to save me time.
