I've been using DVD Shrink for the past several weeks with no problems. After upgrading from Win 2000 Pro to XP Pro, I get the following error after clicking the backup button:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Copy protection error

The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

If I disable the Burning with Nero in the preferences section then this doesn't happen.

Any suggestions?

I upgraded Nero to the latest version and it seems to be working now. I was using version 5.5, but it's weird that everything worked under 2000 but not XP!

Thanks for the help!

Hi guys, there was a problem between the newer versions of Shrink and the auto burn with Nero. The first problem was long rip and burn times. I read the problem was actually in one of the first versions of Nero Ultra. I think it is corrected now with the latest version. I would try downloading the latest version of Nero and see if the problem disappears. I think its 6303 now.

Rotary,

Since you are using Nero 5.5 - can DVD Shrink use 5.5 to do it's "automatic" burn "thingie" or do you just do it out of the New Compilation Window ?
