I presume you mean a Starview?before you buy look on line on any of the web pages that have "universal remotes" on and check if the name is covered That way you will buy one that does the Starview IR codes

Assuming you still have the original remote that came with the box, you need a universal remote with a 'learning mode', something along the lines of this
http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/philips-...ontrol-sru7040/

This was only a quick search, there are plenty more out there. If your own universal remote has learning mode, do a quick Google for the manual if you don't remember how to do it. If you don't have the original remote, can you borrow one from a friend who has the same box?

No files on Eamos anymore due to a complaint :-(

Maybe it would be an Idea to Get A DB of codes that operate various boxes,

If your Universal Remote allows you to enter in a code
The code for the Eurovox PVR is 0838
Its not precise but you get the Hang of it...
eg: '0' =Channel up
'1' = Channell down
'4' = Info
etc

Eurovox MAx V 2008 Universal remote code
0878
once again this is not perfect but you get used to the buttons
its better than nothing !
