Am I running custom firmware?

I got a PSP for x-mas and my father says it is modded, he had a friend do it, I just wante to make sure I am running custom firmware. I have linked to a youtube video showing the recovery menu of my PSP, does this mean I am running custom firmware? (the recov menu, not the link to the video)

If you have a recovery menu then yes you have custom firmware. You can find out what version is installed by going to System Settings then System Information and the system software will be the version of custom firmware your running (Example: 5.00 M33-4).
