a friend of mine has modded wii(wiid chip) when they try to play certain games it keeps saying error 001 unable to read drive.i have the same chip and the game that wont play on theirs do play on mine. i have updated the wii but this has not helped can anyone help please thankyou

Does you friends Wii play back up games at all?

yes it plays some games but not all it even let me install the update in off the animal crossing (all the same disc play fine in my sons wii but not on theirs)and all firmware is installed
