from reading the threads i understand that it is better to re-install the original bin file and then upgrade to the 1.5 but here is what i would like clarification on....

1.the xbox has not received the ms update from last month or so and has not been banned. should that update be put on before loading ixtreme 1.5?

2.can back up games that were made prior to 1.5 still be used with "live" or do they need to be stealthed differently?

Well I have just recently upgraded to 1.5 .

I already have had the NXE update, the one Microsoft released back in November, right after everyones 3yr warranty had expired.(wierd huh)

But back to the question
1. Should you get the update? I know ppl that have and hadn't and so far from what I have heard no one is having problems.
2. And no games don't need stealthed differently, and also if you read about the 1.5 version it won't play ripped games that are steathed bad, so you are safe.
