The reason why I'm confused is, is because i had the Wii Running With Mario Kart Wii (3.0?) but also at the same time I Was using Super Mario Galaxy With No Problems.
If I Update to WiiKey 1.9g and Then do a Internet Update Will The Wii Be Bricked?
Mario Kart has firmware 3.2. If you're playing it on firmware 3.1 then you likely have a brickblocked copy. SMG has 3.0 so it will run fine on a 3.1 wii, no problems there.
The 1.9s wiikey firmware is the most recent. 1.9g came before it. So if you're on 1.9s then you dont have to worry about updating it.
And finally, updating your wii via the internet will NEVER brick it. Bricking is only caused by running out of region updates off of games. The newer firmwares do negatively effect homebrew, but if you're just running backup games with a modchip you don't have anything to worry about.
