ok the hard drive is toast and i'm running off a 64mb memory card, and i can't connect to live its asking to system update and i can't not enough space. I tried burning the update to a cd but it didn't work either it says "Mixed Data CD". so what are my options?

u need a hard-drive in order to do the update otherwise it wont work. even burning the NXE dashboard into a cd u still need the hard-drive.

Do you have a friend with the nxe update and a hard drive? You can use his hard drive and update your 360 like that and then continue to play with the memory card.
