Guys,

I need some help as I tried everything but no luck.

1) I have just got a black PSP yesterday which the ofw on the psp is 4.01. I tried the easy installer with a pondora battery but no luck getting into it some I install homebrew games. The funny thing is that my family just gave me another psp a few days earlier and I was able to use my magic stick and pondora battery to install the 3.71 mm3 cfw with no problems at all. What can I do or where did I go wrong? Also where can I locate the model number that all the forums are saying that we are unable to hack?

2) I have a brick PSP and I can't get it to come back. It was flash with 3.71 mm3 cfw. Now it wouldn't come up any more. When I install the Pondora battery along with the Msgic stick the power lights don'' come up at all. Only the memory stick light and the wifi light is on led on only.

1) your model might be 3000,any FW with 4.01 with model 3000 cannot be hacked

Where on the psp will I find what version my psp is? It might be that I have a 3000 but I don't know where to look to see if this is the case.
