I've searched around and I'm just wondering what is the correlation to fixing fully bricked wii's by replacing the bluetooth chip?

I'm curious as how the two (Bluetooth/System Memory) tie in together?

I'm pretty sure you can fix a full brick if you have StarFall installed and a genuine update disc.

I've never heard of this 'bluetooth' method.
