d2sun v3 advice newbie

hi, let me introsuce myself i'm ayesha and new here. i've been seraching the forum for a few days now. I think im all set an ready to install my d2sun v3 presoldered to wii clip i ordered it from pinpoint cames it seems like the best modchip as it can easily be switched on and off. i jave a d2b chip with cut legs opened the wii to verify this. The only think im of afarid of is making my wii go dead or bricking it. am i ok if i only update the wii via wi-fi and only play backups from my own region PAL region. this is the information i have gathered so far. and if any1 has any feedback or problems with d2sun i might encounter please let me now. do i need to install any software or anything or will backups just play normaly like orginals and also can i play via wi-fi on my orginal guitar hero and mario kart and other games. how about playing online with copied games?
woah i went on there i understand most of this stuff is already probably mentioned on the forum but i just want to clarify and make sure sorry if i am wasting a thread.

So long as you only update online or from games from your wii's home region your safe. I havent used the D2Sun before but if its like nearly all other modchips you just install it and can play. And it is perfectly safe to play online with a modchip, regardless of if its an original or backup disk.

I've got an d2sun 3.0 but many games do not work... Searching the internet what could be the problem, and found the problem: the chip.
Wish i bought a different one....

hi, i installed mine and it works fabulous. i just installed with wii clip very carefully and with the switch and set the dip switches. i did have the eject issue 1st time i used it never had the problem again. it works fab plays games burned on sony dvd-r and even datawrite i borrowed of someone not tried any others.
