hi there everyone i have just installed new firmware c/core 4.00
still saying updating,how i find out if it has been installed i went into syste m info

it says this api ver 4.00 e_E boot ver 7.0

does this seem right for the new update

Yes that will show up in System Information with the date 7.June 2007, as that is the one that has been mofified to AU. If you are in UK, it should update quickly, so suspect you are in Ireland, then you need to find a channel with a strong signal, try Sly2/Discovery/Disney even the God channel, but Sly2 seems to be the favourite.

thank for getting back to me,am in glasgow ,so just find those channels and let it update

Well if you are in the UK you should not need to do that, so go to Menu - 1570 into Cas System menu and make sure the Key Emu is turned ON.


EDIT:- Alternatively you can do a Factory Re-Set and fresh Installation, making sure that you scan (Automatically) on your correct provider, when channels found, exit to main Menu, enter 1570 into Cas System Menu and turn the Key Emu ON

Or to test the Auto Update, then press Set Default key and exit out to Sly Sports 1.
