eeprom file to big?

this xbox was giving me error code 21 sometimes then played fine so i installed the mech-linux hack put in mech and it went great. until the last part of the softmod then froze and knocked once(the hd). i let it run but never finished, so i rebboted and it went to evox minimum just settings and play disc options i put in aid 4.2 went to it fine but when i tried to lok at the files it froze and gave error 7. i only want to know how to get the eeprom to put any hd in it.
ftp freezes also, oh and now it won't boot just gives error 7. 3404 kern and dash was 5960 said it was good for the hack. i also in aid 4.2 installed unleash x and some apps fine no freezes or probs but still now nothing good. and finally the eeprom way too big at 24.6mbs the others i have seen were much smaller like less than 1mb. eeprom reader live info says on bottom hd status:locking not locked and frozen but gives all the other info. like version, model#, serial#, and calculated password confounder but not eeprom unique hdd key.
