I searched the forums and didn't find a thread pretaining to this topic

Does anyone know of a a cheap DL dvd drive that I can use to make backups of games. I want to mod my xbox but I want to see how much it will cost me before I start. So if anyone knows of a really cheap one that they know works that would be great. thanks.

well your searching must suck as there are only about 100 threads on how to back up games and everything. but since you cant search, ill just give you the answer
to copy the games you will need a specific samsung drive flashed with the kreon FW (ill let you search to find out which ones they are)
and any dual layer burner will work to burn the games.

Umm... well thats nice but that isn't really an answer to my qestion. Cuz that says what I need to do to back up games. That isn't my problem. My problem is that I was just wondering if anyone knew of a cheap double layer dvd burner. sorry if I was unclear.

well then why dont you to go like newegg.com, tigerdirect.com bestbuy.com, amazon.com and search and find what the cheapest one is. that really isnt that hard to do.
