hi looking to soft mod a wee so i can download games and burn onto disk. is zelda needed in order to do this.

I certainly hope you intend to do some research before trying to softmod your wii, because the answer to your question is included in nearly every softmodding guide I've read. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/735325

At the very least you should look up how to spell 'wii' before doing anything. At the very least it will make it much easier to find useful information if/when you mess something up.

yes i thought i woulnt be able to say nintendo wii, thank you for pointing that out to me. so from what i can gather part of the set up is contained in the zelda game.
