As a big AMD fan let me say: that chip is not worth buying a mainboard for, especialy a "VERY NICE" mainboard. You can get a better chip for under $70 new.

If you must use it, check out ebay...no point buying a new mainboard with a socket 3 generations old...you can probably get something decent for about $20.

the others are giving legitimate answers. why? because they don't make s939 mobos anymore. if you do find one, you're better off doing a new build because the price will be ridiculous.

sell off the opteron to fund the new build.

I looked for 939 boards a while back after mine went bust, and I couldn't find anything remotely reasonably priced.
