flashed xbox 360 takes a while to load burnt games

So I have a flashed xbox 360 arcade with a 20g hard drive. When I put in the burnt game it spins and stops, spins and stops untill the drive starts clicking. I do this about 10 to 15 times after turning on the xbox before the game actually loads. However, it seems that if I have the xbox on for about 5 mins the games load in like 3 or 4 tries. I have seen videos on YouTube of people playing burnt games and they load right away just like a normal game. I am wondering why mine doesn't. Thanks!

1. Bad quality disk, shortens the life of the dvd drive's laser because it has to stress to read the disk check the DVD±R discussion section of the fourm for more info. For 360 just buy Verbatim

hmm well the xbox is pretty old. but it loads other games fine. I am using memorex but I also have some games on verbatims and they do the same thing. how could I fix the worn out laser if that is indeed the problem?

New DVD-ROM or a few places sell just the eye but why bother.

Just get yourself a BenQ or a Samsung and spoof your key to the new iXtreme 1.5 FW.

Oh, and stop using Memorex or it will likely happen again.

Yea, the Memorex gives stress to the laser...

Spoof the drive, each drive has a key, when the drive was hacked with iXtreme, the key was extracted then injuected into ixtreme, u need a prog to spoof it so it thinks its the same type of drive.

Or you could buy the laser and swap it out, or buy the same drive and swap out the chip that is in there.

mine used to do that with one game. I just burned another one and it started working fine. so it might just be ur games. test them on someone else's xbox to see if thats the case
