FAT PSP with CFW not booting up Pandora's Battery

Hello :D...I have a dilemma because i recently just purchased a PSP-2000 with means to mod it.

Now my Fat PSP has a CFW of 5.xx (the newest version i believe)and i followed everything in this guide

to format my memory stick and make it a magic stick, i have completed that process but when i get to the part about starting the Pandora Battery program under the Games tab, it gets a "The Game Cannot be Started" error..

I was wondering if this has to do with my CFW or if i should downgrade it to be able to run it..ive tried to use the 1.50 kernel in recovery and that doesnt work as well.

any help guys??

I think that you need to downgrade it first to lower firmware like 4.01 or something and then it will work for you!

well i tried the downgrade guide here

and one of the links are broken so i cant make a battery to downgrade my 5.xx....

help? :(..ive looked at other guides but they are too complicated..
