HI,

got The Box 2 in Nov 07, worked up until recently. Autoscan routine seems to find channels but data wont update even if I leave for ages on Sk Sports 2 etc

from reading other posts I understand I have to update firmware to 4.57

I am struggling with this. Last time I did it I had a real simple step by step instructions on a .pdf file (since deleted) of how what files to transfer and how to do it. HAve looked but cant find this.

Will the GTRom4.00.exe file transfer the .rar file? If so how?

thanks in advance

You need the 4.57 on your desktop & you need winrar to extract the files. Bin file is correct.

You`ll need to turn the emu on & set the default key then exit to channels.
If you`ve any problems, come back & we`ll help you get the b0x up & running.

this time there seems to be no Ch*r*s Cork but on Ch*r*s I am only getting 85 channels. DO you know how I can get the rest?

menu > installation, make sure ch***S is set as provider.
Do an autoscan & it should pick up the channels.

Go into The cas system menu & set the default key, this will bring your provider back, then do an autoscan.
If that doesnt work then do a factory reset.

Menu > factory setting
Pin - 0000. ok to delete

TURN THE B0X OFF AT THE BACK FOR A MIN, THEN TURN BACK ON

English > installation
Choose provider
Auto scan > press ok
Channels found > exit
Menu > 1570, Turn EMU on
Exit, exit, exit.

If you are getting the updating data message try it on either sly 2... Discovery Turbo.. or Sly Movies Indie , it should click in on one of those!!

Hi again,

I'm still only getting 85 channels. Have done factory reset and default key.

Its scanning 13 TP's on Ch*r*s and finding 85, on other network its not finding any. In Nov 07, i got best results on Chr**s Cork but this option is not present since updating software.

Does anyone know if Limerick Ch*r*s is the same as everywhere else?

There's no email addresses, or info on codes allowed on AD.

I'd edit my last post if i was you, before the mods see it.
