everyone seems to recommend verbatim but i will be buying my backups online, save me the trouble of burning them myself and the site uses infiniti discs, wondering if theyr as good as verbs? they seem to be quite expensive
pretty quick to judge there mate, shouldnt jump to conclusions. I dont want to download them because thats illegal (well the uploading part) im not going to waste money on expensive discs to turn into coasters, and my dvd burner scratches discs so im definitely not putting my 360 games in their, my computers about 5 years old not in a position to burn rip download, id rather just buy the games online, so please, instead of flaming me for no reason please help! lol are infiniti discs gona bugger my 360 drive?
well good thing with newsgroups there is no uploading. And buying a "backup" is definitely "higher up" on the piracy scale than just downloading a game. But that's not the point.
It is worth paying a one time fee of maybe $100 dollars to get a kreon drive, a burner that works (if you don't have one) and some verbs. It will be sure to keep the life of your 360's laser as long living as possible. The cheaper media in my opinion is not worth it. I have ONLY put verbatim discs in my drive, and even if I used the hdd install feature (which I should, although I need a bigger hdd) I would still only put verbs in it.
i suppose id need to buy a new burner eventually anyway, does it have to be any particular burner or any that do dual layer? iv checked out newsgroups but couldnt get my head round it iv read n read lol just all really confusing. my current burner leaves ring scratches on the discs iv tried to burn in the past. iv read a few tutorials on burning discs is it easy enough? sorry if my last post seemed a little defensive im just not one for pirating lol support the games ya like and u might get sequel! :)
newsgroups are very easy to learn. You just have t want to learn it. It is essentially the same exact thing as torrents, except you pay a little bit for them. You download .nzbs instead of .torrent
And you have a different program that opens the .nzb to download the files. But it basically is the exact process for downloading.
A lot of people recommend the pioneer burner. However, I just use any dual layer burner. I have like a liteon, and a superdrive that came in my mac. All of them burn games fine for me.
yeah iv got grabit but i can only search a few times a day or something i connected to my isp server i think, i really do want to learn how to use them though, i cant really afford to pay for a newsgroup though, just lost my job at woolies :(
