sometimes it will, but it will only be a short time before the battery is ruined. slim batterys cant survive in the fat psp.
(basically i reccommend that you dont use the slim battery in the fat)

I actually used my slim pandora to mod a fat psp. It works, but it gets stuck pretty hard. I needed a flat head to remove it. No physical damage done.

If you are just using for modding and the battery is hardmodded, just flip out the MOBO/POBO and put the connectors together and it will work. make sure to have a charger plugged in as it comes off easily
