I have just recently downloaded Rock Band 2 for the Wii and it came in at around 700mb. I extracted the file and it came out as a folder named ISO and inside was another .RAR file. I try to open it and extract it but it doesn't work and it says there is nothing in the archive. But the archive says it has 4 and a half somewhat gb of stuff inside it. Anyone know what the problem could be?
Thanks In Advance.

The iso isnt a compressed folder. Its the game. You cant open it. Burn it with imgburn. Play it.

This is pretty basic stuff. Normally this would go without saying but I hope your console is modded if you intend to play backup games.

More then likely you have WinRAR associated with ISO files. Just burn the ISO file in the ISO folder with ImgBurn.

It's a very compressed game. 700MB from 4.37GB. I do believe I need to have an ISO file before I can burn it though, correct? So, burning the .RAR file wouldn't work. I would need to extract whatever is in that which should be the ISO. But there's nothing in it. Sorry if I'm bad at this, it's confusing.

The compression isnt too unusual. Wii games are padded to fill a 4.37gig DVD even when they game is nowhere near that large. Running a program called wiiscrubber will let all that padding to be compressed down to nearly nothing.

So you extracted a folder from the rar file and it contains another rar file? Are you sure its a rar file and not an iso that just has the same icon as a rar file?

Like larrylje said, you probably have the iso file extension associated with winrar. It happens. Sometimes when you install winrar it decides to claim a whole bunch of file extensions as its own.

I've seen that same file. It indeed is a 4.37GB ISO inside of a 700MB RAR. KC108, just burn the 4.37GB ISO and all will be fine.
