anyway to fix a bricked wii that doesn't have hbc?

my wii got bricked
system menu is 3.2 U
disc is only able to read ntsc-j though, so i can't install hbc or anything like that


can i fix this wii? [even if i open it up and stuff...ANYTHING to unbrick it, even losing my data]

Ok, first off do NOT open it up or format the memory. That wont do anything.

Secondly, a fully bricked wii does not do anything. Not even turn on. A semi-bricked wii will still play games but the system menu is inaccessible. So if you can access the system menu its not semi-bicked either.

How did this happen? Maybe we can help another way.

ooh...i must have been an idiot then...
i semi-bricked my wii b/c i was using anyregion changer but my menu was set to U.S. and the console was set to JAP.

then...i formatted the memory b/c i thought it would fix things, but it didn't...so now the screen looks like a glitchy movie screen [almost impossible to read]

i am able to reach the channels though..
