i heard or read that the ps3 will play blu-ray format files burnt onto a dvd.

which version of nero does this?

I have Nero 8 and it has the option to Burn Blu Ray disc. However, I have had in the past inadvertently inserted a CD when I was trying to burn a movie on DVD. Would not nero tell you to please insert a blank bluray disc if you put in a CD???

but it's not burning a blu-ray, i came to find out the format is AVCHD
