I fear i may have bricked my wii but i am unsure, i was downgrading the firmware from 3.4e to 3.2e when i got an error i cant remember what it was it then said press a to restart so i did that and the wii froze and didn't restart i turned it off then back on but it wont start up now all that happens is the green light for power comes on.

well all i can say is IF its bricked, im not saying it is..
you can always do a restore by buying a savemii or do the cheap way by holding down all the d pad buttons on a taken apart gamecube controller and then restore with an update disc.

its definitely bricked. Thats what happens when you use programs like downgrading etc. You take that risk , which says so in the faq that you use that this program could brick your wii and do NOT turn it off etc. If you got an error turned it off etc its bricked. Use save mii to restore it or return it to nintendo to get a new wii. Works both ways.

Thanks for the tips ill try the game cube control thing if that doesn't work i know a website that has a unbricking service i don't really have $50 for a savemii at the moment
